1. How to control and delete cookies
LTS sometimes uses cookies to collect personally identifiable information about you (e.g. name, contact details, e-mail address). However, if you wish to restrict or block the cookies which are set by LTS websites, or indeed any other website, you can do this through your browser settings. The Help function within your browser should tell you how.
Alternatively, you may wish to visit www.aboutcookies.org which contains comprehensive information on how to do this on a wide variety of browsers. You will also find details on how to delete cookies from your computer as well as more general information about cookies. | Google Analytics – Demographics & Interests Reporting | Selected sites within our portfolio now have Google Demographics & Interests Reporting enabled. These additional analytics include the tracking of anonymised data visitor demographics (age, gender) and interests (affinity categories, other categories).
These Google Analytics features are based on Display Advertising (e.g. Remarketing, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, the DoubleClick Campaign Manager integration or Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting). Using the Ads Settings, you can opt out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customise Google Display Network ads. |

| Gravatar | Some LTS published/developed websites use Gravatar (an abbreviation for globally recognized avatar), a service for providing globally unique avatars which was created by Tom Preston-Werner. Gravatar sets a cookie in order to display an avatar image of your choice on the website. 5. Local shared objects (Flash cookies)
LTS uses the Adobe Flash Player to deliver some of its video content services. To improve user experience, local shared objects (LSOs) – or Flash cookies as they are commonly known – are employed to provide features such as auto-resume and for saving your preferences. Flash cookies are stored on a user’s terminal much the same as cookies are, however it is not possible to manage them at browser level in the same way.

These sites may set a cookie when you are also logged in to their service. 7. Other third party IP address processing activities
LTS websites sometimes offer features that allow users to share links with social networks and LTS shortens that URL using the bit.ly service
Bit.ly provides LTS with anonymised, aggregated statistics relating to use of the shortened LTS URL, for example by telling us how many times it has been clicked on. The LTS does not have access to the IP address of your computer collected by bit.ly when you use its service or any other identifiable information about you. Nor does Bit.ly have any access to data collected on a LTS website.
